Making a Fondant cake?
Hi I'm Felicia, I love making fondant cakes and started when I was 15. The Fondant I ALWAYS make is the Marshmallow kind. Its perfect because most people have those ingredients any way. Note it is messy. For me this is easy to work with once you get use to it. As for using fondant for big decorations it can be a bit tough because it is so pliable and soft. Gum paste would be better but if you must use fondant it takes time to try fully like a week or so if its a big decoration. My advice would be to add some kind of support in the model like tooth picks or something. I have a you tube account with short videos of some of my cakes.
