Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - PC game - Help with the Devil's Snare????

Hmm...all I can say is to make sure you are really close to the plant, but not on top of it, and that you repeatedly cast incendio as fast as you can. Hopefully the others will join in. I don't think it's possible to destroy it without their help.
