How long does it take for an album to be recognized?

i just brought 2 new cds that came out and as i ripped them to my windows media player none of the information came ,no album tile,cover,name or production credits they just say unknown and i tried to update both of them but it does't seem to be doing anything,i got both these out of target so i dont get why this is happening but maybe it could be that there brand new.How long does it take for them to become recognizable.
