How can you get rid of mice that are behind your walls?

For months I've been hearing things happening above my ceiling and then it progressed to the floor level of the walls. It sounds like the tering of mice. I've never once seen a mouse in the Apartment (and its a small place here with no furniture other than a chair a computer desk and a bookshelf- That's it. No bed, no tables, no couch- basically no place for them to hide. I think I would've seen one if they were in the apt already. There are also no holes that I can see in the walls. I believe they may be trying to go through a dig into the apartment. How can I get rid of them while they're still in the walls?

Am i the only one that think the seat belt law is ridiculous?

I agree with you. Not so much that we should or should not harness ourselves to the seat of a car, but the design of the damn thing!!! Take a penger for instance, the belt cuts right through the right side of the neck, for a woman, cuts right between her , then the belt locks in to place. You have an accident, your body has no place to go, and you are held rigid! Sure! you don't get thrown out of the car by way of the window, but you could be dead just the same by the belt cutting your neck off and crushing your chest! These seat belts are NOT made for the individual - they are all standardly fitted! The manufacturer didn't take into account we are all shapes and sizes!! I think there could be a better design for these seat belts, and a lot more comfortable AND safer! And what about kids! They say, up to a certain weight and height, they ought to be in a child's car seat! Even THEY aren't safe, and then you spend time trying to figure out how to secure the regular car seat, which ain't easy! NOW! I have to say something about the release of this belt!! That on doesn't always work! and it is hidden between the two front seats! You are in an accident, and you are unconcious! The car is burning, and you are stuck there like a pig on a spit!! Who is going to stick their hand into a burning car to push that release on so they can get you out!??

My baby is six months old is it possible i could have post natal depression ?

i had my baby six months ago i had a traumatic pregnancy me and partner was not getting on then he went to prison when was like 6 months pregnant during that time i did sink low and felt very alone. Then to make matters worse when was eight and a half months pregnant i had to Move from my home to go private as my partner was on remand at time and so close to the due date and had no one close to me for support i moved to be near to my mum i done this move alone his family did not even lift a finger to help during this time i went back and fourth to see him never knowing the outcome. Anyway to cut a long story short he did come out 10 days before i had my son i was so tired by this point i lost my home housing ociation for a private which had and had endless issues with the property form when i moved in like no heating when i 1st arrived. Also it turned out me losing my home was waste of time because my mother was of no help really mind you never has shown care towards me empty promises and that, i feel so resentful all the time of everything not my baby i feel guilty for having him sometimes feel my partner does not give a toss about me as well.I feel alone now i tried to tell him i think i have post natal depression i just feel he treats it as a inconvenience which makes me mad considering what i have done for him iam down all the time feel my life is doomed terrified of the future

Okay, so here's the story. I like this guy named Nate. He's 14 and I'm 13. I met him through my sister, who evidently was trying to set us up on a blind date for a while because she thought we would like each other. Anyway, he doesn't talk much, he's really shy. He won't even talk to his dad. Back to the point, he came over for a camp out and we were sitting next to each other by the fire. I got out because I had to go to the bathroom and my brother tried to push me back in (he's 14). I thought I was gonna get pushed back in (bcuz he's stronger than me), but Nate grabbed him off me and tried to push him in. I had time to run by, but Nate got thrown back into the pool. Whenever I see him, he doesn't talk to me much, but he looks at me out of the corner of his eye and looks at me after he tells a joke (usually nervously laughing). So does he like me? ACL INJURIES IN DOGS?

I HAVE A BLACK MAGIC FEMALE LAB AND RECENTLY SHE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A TORN ACL IN HER LEFT KNEE. She is 9 years old and the vets recommendation is to keep her on medications for a while as she is not a candidate for surgery because of her age and the cost to me as going through chapter 13 currently. Trying the conservative method and seeing if that helps or not and keeping her a quiet as possible. Also wondering if she would be a good candidate for a dog wheelchair if it comes to that point. Trying some holistic pain and hip medication to see if that works. H ave also tried a (GINGER LEAD) sling for back support and it has not worked as she is absolutely terrified of it and plants her feet and will not move even with treats in front of her. Do not want to make matters worse by pulling on her good legs as well as her injured one. It is currently not snowing in Toronto Canada, however the last time a group of pigeons lived in the box outside my balcony and they left the twigs inside. Why don't runners drink juice?

Can I give my 13 month olive oil for extra fat?

That may sound weird, but my 13 month old refuses to eat ALL food except pureed fruits and graham crackers. I am worried he is not getting enough fat in his diet because he has a dairy allergy and can only drink soy milk, which is pretty low in fat. If I added just a tiny bit of olive oil in his baby food throughout the day to get a little bit of extra fat in him, would that be bad for any reason? He is 13 months and barely weighs 20 lbs, and is just a skinny little guy.

Could I have something other than IBS?

I was diagnosed like a year and a half ago with celiac disease, ibs, and the early stages of endometriosis. For the past several months I have been getting a recurring fever (low-high) accompanied by weakness and sometimes achiness. My Gastroenterologist tested my stool for common viruses but it was negative. I know that my colonoscopy was negative for an ibd a year and a half ago, but this recurring fever is really baffling. Its like I keep getting a stomach virus but I am negative for that virus. This fever is accompanying abdominal pain that can be manageable to excruciating, alternating constipation and diarrhea. No one seems to be able to explain this fever. I also lost some significant weight in the past year. Is it possible for an ibd to be missed or that I have developed one since my last colonoscopy. Its not that I want to have an IBD, (I struggle plenty with my ibs) but I really can't understand this fever.

Why are gastro-enterologists so quick to issue an IBS diagnosis when in fact you have other problems?

I just went to a gastroenterologist about digestive problems, thinking I had IBS. The doctor said that IBS is a "diagnosis of exclusion," meaning you're supposed to exclude EVERY OTHER POSSIBLE AILMENT before diagnosing IBS. Therefore, it's obviously a difficult process to cut through all other possibilities, why some doctors (or should I say, lazy doctors) just shoot to IBS right away, mostly because IBS causes so many symptoms...so it's an easy things for doctors to just say you have without doing all the tests they're supposed to. I would go to another gastroenterologist who specializes in what you have, to make sure you're in good hands. Good luck and good health!

I think this is the reason Bob Arum pushed Manny to take the fight before the elections. I think Bob is hoping he loses so that he will maybe lose the election. Making a Fondant cake?

Hi I'm Felicia, I love making fondant cakes and started when I was 15. The Fondant I ALWAYS make is the Marshmallow kind. Its perfect because most people have those ingredients any way. Note it is messy. For me this is easy to work with once you get use to it. As for using fondant for big decorations it can be a bit tough because it is so pliable and soft. Gum paste would be better but if you must use fondant it takes time to try fully like a week or so if its a big decoration. My advice would be to add some kind of support in the model like tooth picks or something. I have a you tube account with short videos of some of my cakes. Asus G53SW or Sager NP8150?

I've researched these two similarly priced gaming laptop machines quite extensively. They share very similar specs. The most important differences to me are that the Asus has a much more interesting aesthetic feel to it and the sager is quite boring, however, the sager is capable of having a better graphics card (the 2gb 485m vs the 1.5gb 460m that both the g53sw and np8150 start with) I'd get both with the lower graphics card (460m with 1gb memory) to start with. Now as games evolve and such i'll need better graphics. So knowing this I am not sure if i should get the laptop that I feel more aesthetically pleased with or if i should get that laptop that I will be able to upgrade down the road. Down the road though i might just want to get the next best thing for the price as the 485m might be just as obsolete. (i ume upgrading would probably occur 3-5 years later)

there are several issues here you will have to address, first of all you did not say if the fillet was bacon wrapped, fillet Mignon is VERY lean and dries out easily. The most difficult part of cooking beef steak (almost any cut) is that people have different ideas of how the steak is to be done (rare to well), the more expensive the cut the more people are persnickety about the doneness. Cooking multiple steaks to different degrees of doneness on an open grill(and having them all ready at the same time) takes skill, doing it in an oven will require monumental skill. Doing it for the first time, well good luck. Also, I would not attempt to cook bacon wrapped fillet to well done. as for cooking on a George Forman, i have done this a few times, it comes fine. Once again cooking the steak to the desired doneness is the key. Also use less seasoning, the seasoning on top of the steak has no place to go other than into the steak.

Teach him specific commands that expect him to do his business as told (like "wheewhee" for no.1 and "poopoo" for no.2). Say it everytime he does his business so he learns to ociate the word with the action. Then, find a designated place where you want him to do his business (on a newspaper, a certain spot in your backyard, etc.) and bring him there everytime he starts doing his business. Don't forget to tell him the commands while he's doing it and praise him when he's done. The pup should learn it within a few weeks at most.

I was thinking the same thing the other day when I saw a girl about 13 who was pregnant at the mall. Where are these kids parents? What kind of behavior is being set in there houses that they have to go out and have unprotected . dirty oil doesnt necessarily cause a bad lifter. It will cause a lifter tap if the oil goes unchanged to long which causes the lubricants in the oil to break down. But lifters can go bad from years of use, driving the engine to hard/abusing it or a worn pushrod can cause a lifter malfunction. Lifters can stick, or even literally explode.. try changing oil first but if that dont work.. you wont know what happened til you tear the valve covers off..Good luck

I make my own and i use two soft shell tortillas and melt er and mix that with garlic salt and spread that on the inside of the tortillas. How long to recover after chest/respiratory infection?

At the start of feb I gradually went off my food and felt generally unwell. I felt a cold coming on but managed to fend it off before it took hold but it left me with a cough. A week or so later the cold came back but this time it was really bad to the point where I could only breathe through my mouth and still the cough. After getting over this I still felt unwell, no energy, tired, no appetite, but just carried on going to work but around march 10th my appetite completely went to the point where I couldn't even force food down me and a few days later I was really ill. I went to the doctors and he diagnosed a respiratory infection and prescribed me 5 days worth of amoxicillin 500mg 3x daily which didn't seem to really do much, I went back and was prescribed 5 more days of the same and a cough suppressant, he also made me have a blood test which came back ok. I picked up a little but during that time i was unable to eat for 5 days which really scared me. I am now sort of back on my feet but still very little appetite at all and have had to start drinking a nutrient drink, I have no energy which I put down to not eating. How much longer is this likely to last and should I go back to the doctors with regards the appetite?

Help, my jaw hurts really bad!?

I recently went to the dentist to get a night guard made because I have TMJ. I also needed a crown. The dentist put on a temporary crown & it is significantly shorter then my original tooth. I have only been chewing on one side of my mouth (the side without the temporary crown) because the temporary crown fell out once & had to be put back on. I have awful pain on one side of my jaw (the side without the crown). I'm wondering if the fact that the temporary crown is smaller then my original tooth has caused my entire mount/jaw to be out of line & causing me so much pain, plus the fact that I have only been chewing on one side of my mouth. I go back to the dentist tomorrow to get the permanent crown & pick up my night guard. Any ideas what could be causing all this pain?

I have a beautiful blue angora/wool sweater that I love, but the fuzz is driving me nuts. I machine washed it on delicate and layed it flat to dry, just like the directions said. I washed some other sweaters with it, and the other sweaters were coated in blue fuzz. I wore a wool coat with it, and there's blue fuzz all over my coat. I wore it to work, and the next day I noticed blue fuzz all over my desk chair. I even get blue fuzz in my long hair. The sweater isn't really pilling, it's just shedding fuzz everywhere. I tried using a lint brush which helped, but once I start moving around it starts shedding again. Is there anything I can do?

last week i examined myself for testicular cancer. Why won't my dog go to the bathroom outside?

I adopted a 7 month old dog four days ago. She's very smart. She knew 'Sit' and 'Down' when I got her, I taught her to 'Shake' and 'Fetch' in just one day, and she's starting to understand 'Stay'. She also knows what 'No' and 'Come here' mean. Since she's so smart, I can't understand why she won't go to the bathroom outside. The first day I got her, I took her for a long walk and she pooped outside. I was extremely praising and gave her a treat. The second day she was here, I took her to the 'potty zone' behind my house and she pooped after about 20 minutes. Again, I was very praising. She's hasn't peed outside once since I got her, and she's only pooped outside those 2 times. I haven't caught her in the act inside, as she only goes at night. All three nights since I got her, she has both pooped and peed on the floor. I adopted her from a VERY reputable rescue center, and she'd been there since she was a month old. Her and her two brothers came from a hoarding situation and were almost dead from malnourishment and neglect. It took several months for her and one of her brothers to get healthy again. One of the ladies that worked their also happened to foster my dog as she was getting better. She said that while she had never actually been housebroken, she never had any accidents in the weeks that my dog stayed with her. I know it's only been four days, but it's just odd. When I take her out back to go to the bathroom, I repeat 'Go potty, Dewey' to her. When I wake up in the morning, I take her to where she had an accident and tell her 'Go potty outside!' then immediately take her out. I'm not sure what else to do. Any suggestions, tips, or ideas would be very, very appreciated! Thank you!
